Rosters must be submitted to the tournament director before the first game begins. Rosters may be dropped off at the Pro Shop.
Out of province teams must include travel permit/insurance with their team roster.
Home or visitor is determined by a coin toss.
Mercy rule is in effect: 10 runs after three complete innings; 8 runs after 4 innings and 7 runs after 5 innings.
No new inning begins after 80 minutes in the round robin.
Should teams be tied after completion of the Round Robin +/- portion of the tournament, the ties will be broken by the result of run differential, then by runs against and, if still tied, by a coin toss.
In the Midget, Bantam and Peewee divisions 3rd place will be determined by the final game. The team that lost to the 1st place team in a semi-final will be awarded 3rd place.
Softball Canada, Softball B.C. and A.S.A pitching rules are in effect.
Substitutions are permitted in accordance with Softball Canada/Softball B. C. rules. Exceptions may be made for injuries.
Game sheets (in package) must be submitted to Pro Shop Immediately following the game by both teams.
No infield warm-up is allowed. Please warm-up in the outfield and please have your line-up ready at least 15 minutes prior to game time.
All batters must wear helmets from dugout to dugout. All shirts must be tucked in. These rules will be strictly enforced by the umpires. First offence is a warning; second offence is player ejection.
Softball City rules preclude food coolers or outside food or beverage from being permitted in the park. Offenders will be required to remove food/coolers beverage from park.
Please clean dugouts of all litter before vacating.
Bat 9, play 9 format. Softball Canada substitution rules apply. Allowances will be made for injuries.
Squirts only, 5 run limit, last inning open.
