Rosters must be submitted to the Tournament Director before your first game. Rosters may be dropped off at the Pro Shop located on the lower concourse level near Diamond #3.
“Out of province” Teams must include a copy of their “Travel Permit/Insurance” with their Team Roster.
Home Team will be determined by a double coin toss.
Mercy Rule is in effect: 10 runs after 3 complete innings; 8 runs after four innings, and 7 runs after 5 innings.
Drop-dead time is 1 hour 40 minutes, finish the batter, with no new innings after 90 minutes of play.
Five run maximums per inning are in effect for Squirt and Pee Wee Divisions for every inning except the 7th. For Bantam and Midget Divisions, all innings open.
Softball Canada, Softball B.C. and A.S.A. Pitching rules are in effect.
All players may bat and substitutions are permitted in accordance with Softball Canada and Softball B.C. rules. Exceptions may be made for injuries.
Home Team will provide the “official scorekeeper” who is to submit a score sheet to the Pro Shop immediately following the game.
No infield warm-up is allowed. Please warm-up in the outfield and have your line-up ready at least 15 min. prior to game time.
This is a “no-protest” tournament. Umpires decisions are final.
All batters must wear helmets from dug-out-to dugout. All shirts must be “tucked-in”. The umpires will strictly enforce these rules. First offence is a warning; second offence is player ejection.
No smoking by players in uniform at anytime through out the park.
Softball City rules preclude food coolers or outside food or beverage from being permitted in the park. Offenders will be required to remove food/coolers/beverages from the park.
In consideration of teams playing after you we ask if you could please clean your dugout of all litter after your game.
